Conference review
15 June 2010, Forum Geneva
The Software Quality Management and Testing community came together for the third time in Geneva at the iqnite 2010 Suisse. Experts and experienced users gave papers on subjects focusing on hot topics like Agile Testing, Test Management, Migration & IT Governance and Quality Management.
The 2010 top keynote speakers were: Mark Gallagher from the British Cosworth Formula One racing stable, who was speaking about software quality and testing from the view of a Formula 1 team, as well as Jean Marie Leclerc, CIO of Etat de Genève. In the opening keynote speech he presented about his experience with implementing quality proceedings to software development. Furthermore Rudolf van Megen (SQS) launched the up-to-date results of this years Software Quality and Testing survey in the interactive panel discussion “Survey Results 2010: Which Changes against 2009 are Economy Driven?”.
In addition to the keynotes, track presentations and workshops, the delegates had the opportunity to gain detailed information directly from the various vendors at the accompanying exhibition.
We would like to thank all delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and supporting organisations, who have contributed to the success of this year’s iqnite 2010 Suisse.
Next year this well established conference will take place in June again. Expected for this summer the Call for Papers will be published. We are looking forward to numerous high quality submissions and to a fantastic event next year in Geneva!
