Since 1996 the iqnite conferences (former Software & Systems Quality Conferences "SQC") have brought together IT-employees and experts every year. About 2,000 delegates visit the 7 established conferences which are located in Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland, Ireland, Australia and Scandinavia. Presentations of experts, field reports and tutorials as well as the trade exhibition make the conference a meeting point and a marketplace.

The new name iqnite is derived from the English word "to ignite". The idea behind this is to ignite and emblaze the awareness of software quality management and testing through the conferences. With the symbolic ignition of the iqnite-fuse the conferences will be the engine for new trends, technologies and strategies in the future.
