Stephan Ziegler, BITKOM

Stephan Ziegler (*1977) is Senior Manager of Software at the German Association for Information Industry, Telecommunication and new Media (BITKOM).

After his graduation in computer sciences and economics at the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena, Stephan Ziegler worked as an IT consultant for SAP. His focus was on supporting the improvement of developing processes of customers within the financial area. Later on he became also responsible for architecture management, data management as well as data quality and SAP-rollout-projects for key account customers.

End of 2006 Stephan Ziegler changed his job and became first a speaker of the association. Later as a Senior Manager of Software, Stephan Ziegler is responsible for IT-architecture, quality management, software development processes and developing tools. He represents the interests of BITKOM-member companies et al. at German IPv6 Council. Furthermore the area of embedded systems belongs to his sphere of competence.
