Dr. Frank Simon, SQS (Programme Chair)

Dr. Frank Simon (*1969) studied at the university of Oldenburg and graduated in computer sciences. After this he did his doctorate at the technical university of Cottbus at the professorship for software systems engineering (Prof.Dr. Lewerenz). From 2001 to 2002 he was Senior Consultant for quality assurance in IT projects at SQS. 2003 to 2007 he founded, established and guided the competence centre “Application Intelligence” which cared about measurement of technical product characteristics. Since 2008 he is head of the group wide acting research and innovation department of the SQS which is responsible for the consolidation as well as the innovation of the service portfolio of SQS overall.
