Thomas Gantner, Daimler

Thomas Gantner studied mathematics at the University of Ulm in Germany. After obtaining a master’s degree in 1991 he joined the software process engineering group at the Daimler Research Laboratory. Here he is employed as a research manager. He and his team are performing research and consulting activities in the areas of software quality management and software process design and improvement, especially in the context of automotive embedded systems. Additionally he is the project leader of a long term research project with the passenger car development and commercial vehicle development business units as the key customers.
