Conference review,
5 - 6 October 2011
Over 200 software testing professionals and vendors gathered at iqnite
2011 Australia to share information regarding the latest industry trends and more, making 2011 the biggest ever iqnite Australia conference. The conference is now considered the biggest and best forum for the Australian and New Zealand region in terms of software quality management, testing and process optimisation.
Once again, the calibre of presentations at the conference received outstanding feedback from delegates. Popular highlights included the opening keynote from Google’s Simon Stewart, who discussed Scalable Test Automation. As one delegate said, the presentation was “entertaining and informative”.
Other keynotes included real life test pilot and Nova Group CEO Jim Whalley, Microsoft’s Dennis Bass and Mike Skyllas from Commonwealth Bank. Track and workshop presentations were of a similarly high standard, with representatives from the private and public sector including Michael Palotas from eBay and Thomas McCoy from the Department of FaHCSIA.
The exhibition was similarly the biggest ever in 2011, proudly supported by a number of leading vendors and industry bodies. As one delegate said, “I was particularly impressed with the vendors this year. It seems that the various tools have improved a tremendous amount since the last conference”.
The iqnite conference organisers thank all delegates, sponsors, speakers and the Programme Committee for making iqnite
2011 Australia a success. We look forward to your continued support at iqnite
2012 Australia. Next year’s conference will be held from November 5 - 6 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition centre.
